Our Building Process
At Man Homes, we follow a meticulous building process that ensures your dream home becomes a reality. From the initial design to the final finishing touches, we are committed to delivering exceptional results that exceed your expectations.
1. Site Meeting
You’ll meet with Mark and Jim, the owners and skilled builders behind Man Homes, to assess the site’s potential and discuss any specific considerations. Their extensive experience and local knowledge ensure that we understand the unique qualities of the land, allowing us to tailor your project to fit perfectly within its surroundings.

2. Hand-drafted

design
Following the initial site meeting, Mark will hand-draft a preliminary design sketch based on the discussions and insights from the visit. This sketch will reflect how your home can best utilize the land’s features while aligning with your vision for the design.
3. Preliminary Quote
Once the preliminary design is ready, Jim will provide an obligation-free, high-level cost estimate that includes our standard finishes as well as any additional features or upgrades you may want to incorporate.
4. Detailed Design Development
After you decide to move forward, we will charge an initial design fee to develop more detailed plans. This includes architectural and engineering input if required, ensuring your design is precise and ready for the next stages.
5. Finalised Quote
At this stage, we’ll provide a comprehensive quote based on the detailed design, including materials, labor, and timeline. We’ll also guide you through the color selection process and finalize any additional features. This ensures your quote is fully tailored to your preferences, and from this point, fees for the quoting process apply.
6. Contracts prepared
Once the final design and budget are approved, we’ll prepare a formal building contract for you to review and sign. The cost of this service is included as part of the construction agreement, ensuring everything is clearly outlined before we begin the build.
7. Construction begins
Once all approvals, financing, and contracts are in place, we’ll kick off the build. Our loyal tradespeople, whom we've built strong relationships with over the years, ensure that your home is constructed to the highest standards. You can trust that the quality of their work aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence, and we’ll keep you updated throughout the entire construction process.
